A book fair and reception was held on Saturday under the initiative of Nissan Literary and Cultural Forum in Frankfurt, Germany. The founding chairman of Alo Bhuvan Trust and the German highest civilian title ‘Federal Cross of Merit’ award-winning medical physicist Professor Dr. Ghulam Abu Zakaria. Book-loving expatriate Bangladeshis living in different cities of Germany attended this informal event at a local hall in Frankfurt.
Dr. Dr. German expatriate medical doctor. Books written by expatriates including ‘Bridge Builder’ on Ghulam Abu Zakaria and ‘Memoirs of Professor Zakaria, Pioneer of Bangladesh Medical Physics’ – were displayed.
The chief organizer of the program was Shaheen Hasan, a German expatriate poet and lyricist.
