RBHC organized a Awarness Seminar Titled “Cancer is not a Panic, Awareness, Prevention and Primary Treatment”

“Cancer is Not a Panic, Awareness is the Key to Prevention!”

Early detection and awareness are our strongest weapons against cancer. Last Tuesday (June 9), the Rural Health Project of Alo Bhubon Trust organized a vital seminar titled “Cancer is not a panic, awareness, prevention and primary treatment” at the Rahima Baniz Healthcare Centre in Ikarkuri, Naogaon.

We are proud to share that our mission was widely recognized and covered by the nation’s leading media outlets. We extend our gratitude to Star News, Dainik Sangbad, Desh TV, The Daily Observer, Borendro Somoy, and Prokash for amplifying our voice and helping us spread this vital message across the nation.

Seminar Highlights: Chaired by Mr. Md. Ahsan Saied (Advisor, Alo Bhubon Trust), the event featured Dr. Md. Aminul Islam (Civil Surgeon, Naogaon) as the Chief Guest. Prof. Abu Zakaria, Founder of the Trust, joined online from Germany to emphasize that ignorance and fear complicate the disease more than the illness itself.

Keynote speaker Prof. Hasin Anupama Azhari stressed that a healthy lifestyle, avoiding smoking, eating right, and regular exercise is essential for prevention. Dr. Aminul Islam assured that modern technology and government support are making cancer treatment more successful than ever.

Leaders from the Ekushey Parishad and Naogaon District Press Club also shared their valuable insights during the session.

Let’s spread the word, not fear. Early detection saves lives!
