1. Background of the Activity
The cervical and breast cancer screening program of Alo Bhaban Trust is a regular initiative. As part of this, a special initiative was undertaken to raise women’s health awareness in Chok Kutub (Trimohoni Bazar) village at the Trimohoni Community Clinic, Kashimpur Union, Raninagar Upazila, with the objective of increasing awareness regarding breast and cervical cancer among rural women and providing primary healthcare services.
Rahima Banij Healthcare Center (RBHC), an affiliate organization of Alo Bhaban Trust, successfully conducted a VIA screening program at the Trimohoni Community Clinic on 31 August 2026 with the cooperation of BRAC. BRAC played a vital role by bringing beneficiaries from various areas of Naogaon district to participate in this program. Additionally, the following organizations supported the initiative:

The main objective of this program was to raise awareness about cervical cancer prevention, provide women with health education, and create opportunities for early-stage disease detection. A total of 66 women participated in the camp held throughout the day from 9:00 AM, receiving VIA screening, health education, and counseling services.
Expert gynecologists were present to examine and advise the patients. Following the screening, 04 women were identified as VIA positive and 01 woman as CBE positive. All positive patients received proper counseling and were referred for subsequent examinations and treatment.
